I’ve been working for one year on a play dealing with the history of white male’s glance on black male’s body. Maybe it’s useful, today, this excercise of memory concerning something we take for granted, natural (in a sense or the other) and has a precise and tragic history instead. Unsurpassed, about that, is the classic SEX AND RACISM IN AMERICA by Calvin Hernton (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1382296.Sex_and_Racism_in_America). The opening of my play is scheduled for the end of october 2018, Gender Bender Festival, Bologna, Italy.
